Welcome to PERC blog

The Parent Education Resource Center (PERC) is an organization founded by the PTA in association with Alpine School District and the City of Orem. Its purpose is to help improve parenting skills, to improve parent involvement in their childrens' education, and to support families in this process.

PERC works to accomplish these purposes by doing the following:

• maintaining a collection of over 10,ooo items, including books, educational games, video tapes,audio tapes, DVDs, CDs, CD-Roms that can be checked out by families. This collection is also available to teachers, schools, church groups, and similar organizations.

• Presenting mini-classes to PTAs, church groups, and civic groups.
