Story-Gami
This new item is great for learning how to Origami. Origami is defined as: the Japanese art or process of folding squares of paper into representational shapes. The special Origami paper is included. There are 20 different Origami projects to work on. The different shapes range from boats, to flowers, to hearts, to animals.
This Story-Gami is designed with easy step-by-step directions and easy memorization. The instruction booklet is very detailed, but the DVD is awesome. Both have step-by-step picture directions on how to make each Origami and a story to follow along with every fold. You will be making Origami's like a pro. After you have returned this to PERC, you will still have the knowledge of how to make Origami's and you can use your own paper.

Hunting with kids
This new item is a game of Scaventure hunt.
The game comes with over 100 cards, on each card is a list of what must be collected. Each team takes 7 cards from the stack of cards and must find items and bring them back to the rendezvous-- or the finally meeting place.
Here is a sample of one card:
An added bonus to this game is that the cards are filled with great ideas of what you will need to look for. You may play this game in teams. The age range is preferably between 7 to adult.
Pick it up at PERC and go on a Scaventure Hunt with friends or family. And remember to play it safe!

Think fast with the Chain Game
The Chain Game links words, by using a word you hear, then combining it with
another word, but not repeating a full word of what has already been said. Here is an example:
Player 1 reads: "Weekend"
Player 2 thinks: "Weekday"
Player 3 thinks: "Weeknight"
Player 4 thinks: "Stary night"
Player 1 thinks: "Good night"
Player 2 thinks: "Good Bye"
Player 3 thinks: "Good Riddens"
Player 4 thinks: "Good Bye"

--- Oops. Player 4 looses this round because of the Repeat, and must give one link in his/her chain to another player. In the end, the person with the most links in his/her chain wins! Try it out with the other cards in the picture.
This game is fun and it really gets you thinking about those short one/two common words that we use in life. This game is very enjoyable. You can find it in the Thinking/Reasoning Section of PERC.

New Puzzle Game
This new puzzle game is called "Animal Logic". In this game you must bring every animal individually across the bridge to safety, while at the same time matching it to the board card.
You must figure out the pattern on the card, and must transfer the animals across the river. Check it out. Good luck!
